In the small town of Mezzolombardo (in the Northern side of the Italian region called Trentino), the de Vardas - noblemen since 1678 - were important vineyard owners and grappa producers. It was in a cellar such as de Vardas’ that at the beginning of the 19th century Michele Dolzan started his pursuit in the field of distillation, a pursuit which has now reached the fourth generation. |

VODKA ITALIANA

Villa de Varda offers three different vodkas:
- Regular Italian Vodka,
- Lemon Vodka and
- Orange Vodka.
Vodka Italiana is produced through the exclusive “de Varda Method”, the same system that enabled the distillery to earlier excel at the production of grappa. Starting from the best grain, highly selected and fermented, this vodka is the result of a triple distillation resulting in a product which is at 96% Alc./Vol., contains no impurity and is marked by a smoothness that is very difficult to obtain. |

GRAPPA
This grappa is smooth, rich, enveloping, intriguing, velvety, very harmonious, and at first graceful and delicate. Then it explodes on the palate with authoritative aroma and almost infinite persistence, leaving behind a nuance of chocolate, almonds and liquorice.
Closely monitored by our technicians and guaranteed by a Ministry official, our Grappa is aged for over 36 months in French barriques made of various valuable wood essences. They are placed in our dark cellars at controlled temperatures. |

Batch distillation is carried out in special exclusive copper stills, after which heads and tails are discarded. This is slow distillation process to allow correct evaporation and subsequent condensation of the volatile components that are responsible for the final product’s fragrances and aromas.
For new and refined sensations, pair it with dark chocolate, cheese, dried fruit, honey; in the kitchen, add it to fruit salads, desserts, ice cream and on meat or use it to flambé refined dishes; this wonderfully aged grappa is the ideal match for a large cigar. |
