Corte del Sole Ripasso della Valpolicella
Ripasso della Valpolicella is a delightful red wine made from the same grapes as Amarone della Valpolicella, 70% Corvina and 30% Rondinella grapes. In a Ripasso, Amarone pomace (leftover grape skins and seeds) is added to Valpolicella wine for a second fermentation. The wine is then placed in oak barrels for at least 18 months.
Corte del Sole Ripasso della Valpolicella has an intense nose that is persistent with hints of jam berries and cherries. The dried violet, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg add to the aroma of this Ripasso. A persistent and intense taste showcases an elegant tannic structure.
