Villa de Varda

Villa de Varda Mezzolombardo, a small town near Trento (Northern Italy) is one of the best areas for the production of grappas, fruit brandies, liquors, and wines.  Recognized as "the best vine gardens in Europe", this unique microclimate culminates from a peculiar kind of soil, clean, gentle air from the mountains, and sun exposure.  Reaching back to 1678, the Dolzans' continue the family's commitment in the field of distillation once granted the title of noblemen to the local family de Varda by Leopold 1st, the emperor of Austria, Bohemia, and Hungary.
