With roots stemming back to the coastal serenity of Calabria in Southern Italy, Sergio Sgro's parents emigrated to the United States and started a new life in the “Land of Opportunity”.

Always passionate about his heritage and its unrivaled relationship with food and wine, Serg relishes every opportunity to share stories, adventures, and the occasional mishaps of his time with wine makers in Italy with any willing audience. He believes there is a rich and colorful story in every family-made wine. And what better way to dispense of stories and adventures than over a fermented grape beverage perfected over thousands of years.

Today, Serg, Susie, and the entire Di Vino team enjoy sharing these “stories”, aka wine, through our industry partners in all of Kentucky and southern Ohio.
